Bishopton Village is located between Darlington and Stockton. It consists of about 450 residents and is well known for its 12th Century Motte.

Although Bishopton Village  has a Stockton on Tees postal address and a Sedgefield telephone STD code it is situated in the Borough of Darlington and as such is governed by Darlington Borough Council

The annual Bishopton Community Carol Singing around the Christmas Tree will take place on Wednesday 17th December from 6.30pm followed by mince pies and refreshments in the Village Hall.
